About My Prim Twin, Mary

Did you ever meet someone that you just feel like you've known forever??? I have! Thru the wonders of the internet it was possible! Awhile ago I was asked to join Primitive Fold Art Circle on EBay groups. Little did I know that I was about to meet someone that seems to be my twin that I was separated from at birth! We've chatted online about everything from prim work to our families, which includes our fur babies. And we've laughed about how much alike we both are.

For the past couple of weeks I've been battling the ol' flu bug....even have a temporary loss of hearing from the darned thing. Feeling under the weather left me at home with an old laptop that doesn't always cooperate and unable to log on to the groups as I usually do. Being "missing in action" left my prim twin concerned. Unable to find my address and phone number lead her into the detective mode. Low and behold she found me! I was pleasantly surprised to return to my studio and see I had a phone message from Mary saying she was concerned and wondering where the heck I've been.

Yesterday I returned her call. We talked for hours! So long I had to plug in and charge the cell phone while the conversation continued. It was as if we'd known each other for years! Unbelievable to be in two different states...she's in Michigan and I'm in Ohio....never meeting but able to talk like old friends. We had a lot of catching up to do!

What can I say about Mary?? She recently had surgery and is suppose to be taking it easy but...being Mary she's up and actually painting her fence while she's talking to me. She's more than just a multi tasker. She's the queen of organization and gets more things accomplished in a day than I do in a week! She listens and actually remembers everything you tell her!! She gives great advice and has a real gift of adding humor to even the cloudiest of subjects. She's a true friend and I'm glad I've gotten to know her.

So, Mary, this post is for you....my prim twin!
